Chapter 695
Just as he was about to kiss her lips, a brutal force suddenly struck, yanking him away.
Allen was flung against the opposite wall.
His back slammed into the cold surface with a heavy thud.
"Ah—" Vivian's eyes flew open wide.
She watched Allen's figure slide down the wall in a disheveled heap, a gasp escaping her lips.
Her hand instinctively flew to her mouth.
Her fingertips were icy cold.
Her entire body trembled uncontrollably.
"Are you insane?!" Allen pushed himself up from the wall.
His usually gentle face wore an expression of anger for the first time.
Anyone interrupted at such an intimate moment would struggle to remain calm.
"I should be asking you the same question." Liam Sullivan stood at the border of light and shadow.
His features were cold and severe, his thin lips pressed into a sharp line.
His gaze was like a blade dipped in ice, scraping inch by inch across Vivian's pale face.
Vivian's breath hitched.
Her back pressed tightly against the wall.
Her palms grew clammy with cold sweat.
It was him.
It really was him.
That persistent gaze she'd felt during the day hadn't been her imagination.
"Do you have a problem? Can't stand seeing other people in love?" Allen panted, his eyes tinged red, his voice thick with suppressed rage.
"In love?" Liam let out a derisive laugh.
He took slow steps forward, his shadow falling over them. "My woman. You think you're worthy of touching her?"
"Your woman?" Allen froze, his brow furrowing in disbelief as he looked at Vivian.
"Yes. She's mine." Liam reached out and gripped Vivian's shoulder.
His hold was so tight it felt like he might crush her bones.
His voice wasn't loud, but it carried an undeniable pressure.
"Vivian, do you know him?" Allen stared at Vivian, trying to find an answer on her face.
"N-no! I don't!" Vivian shook her head frantically, her voice trembling.
She struggled violently, trying to shake off Liam's hand. "Sir, please let me go! My boyfriend is right here. I'll call the police if you don't stop!"
"Call the police?" A flicker of mockery passed through Liam's eyes.
His fingers tightened even more. "Go ahead. Try."
"I don't care who you are. Let go of my fiancée." Allen stepped forward, grabbing Vivian's other arm, trying to pull her back to his side.
"Fiancée?" Liam's eyes darkened instantly.
A chilling aura radiated from him. "My wife, Liam Sullivan's wife, and you dare to covet her?"
"Liam Sullivan? The CEO of the Sullivan Group?" Allen's movements paused.
His gaze swept over the man before him, assessing.
But he didn't back down. Instead, he tightened his grip on Vivian's hand. "Even so, you have no right to force her."
"Let me go... I really don't know you!" Vivian kicked and struck at Liam's shins.
Seeing him unmoved, in her desperation, she lowered her head and bit his arm hard.
"Tsk—" Liam hissed in pain and released his grip.
Vivian seized the chance to break free, stumbling as she hid behind Allen.
She clutched Allen's sleeve tightly.
Lifting her damp eyes, her voice was surprisingly calm. "Sir, how do you know my name? I've never met you before. Please leave. Don't disturb me and my boyfriend."
