Chapter 507

Liam Sullivan had no intention of forcing the door open.

Sending that message was just to make her open it voluntarily.

But after waiting a while, the door remained shut. Instead, the property management staff arrived.

Watching Liam being escorted away by the security guards, Vivian Bennett felt the stifling anger in her chest finally dissipate a little.

Tsk. Even the great CEO Liam had such a humiliating moment.

Hospital.

Isabella Sullivan woke up.

She stared blankly at the snow-white ceiling, her eyes hollow.

Apart from the caregiver, there was no one else in the hospital room.

Her face was deathly pale, a cold, faint light shimmering in the depths of her eyes.

"Miss Sullivan, you're awake? I bought some porridge. Would you like some?"

Isabella shook her head and asked the caregiver to help her sit up.

"Are you the only one here?"

The caregiver nodded.

Isabella closed her eyes. Her eyelashes fluttered slightly. When she opened them again, only frustration and despair remained in her gaze.

She understood everything now.

Liam had never shifted his affections. The whole story about Crystal being pregnant was completely fabricated.

He had deliberately set a trap to lure her into exposing herself.

But she couldn't figure out when exactly he had discovered her true nature.

Thinking back carefully, she hadn't revealed any obvious flaws.

Yet after this incident, Liam would never dote on her the way he used to.

Given his personality, from now on he would only distance himself from her and be wary of her.

Getting close to his heart again would be as difficult as climbing to the sky.

Early morning.

Vivian walked out of her apartment.

She wore a red dress shirt, its hem tucked into black ankle-length trousers. The cuffs were rolled up a few folds, revealing a slender, pale wrist.

Her long hair was tied into a low ponytail, exposing her smooth forehead. Her delicate features were exquisite, her eyes and brows strikingly beautiful.

Carrying her bag, she walked forward.

After being escorted downstairs by security last night, Liam had gone straight to his car.

The security guard took one look at the license plate and the car emblem and was instantly dumbfounded.

He didn't dare to ask him to leave anymore. He even politely invited him to rest in the management office.

Liam declined. He didn't blame the guard either. He simply stayed in his car all night.

He dozed off for an hour or two in between, waking up before dawn.

He smoked continuously.

After daybreak, he made a phone call and summoned Crystal over.

When Vivian emerged from the building entrance, he spotted her immediately.

His dark gaze fell on her face, emotions churning in his chest.

He almost immediately pushed the car door open and got out.

Vivian hadn't taken more than a few steps when she saw that figure.

The man was dressed in a black shirt and trousers. Broad shoulders, narrow waist, clean lines, his presence imposing.

His long legs were straight. Standing there, even silent and unmoving, paired with that handsome face, he was enough to draw all eyes.

Her steps faltered. She looked at him quietly.

She hadn't expected him to still be here.

Had he not left last night?

But the security guard had clearly asked him to leave.

Could he have spent the night in his car?

Just as she was wondering, another person got out of the luxury car beside Liam.

It was Crystal.

She didn't know what the two had discussed, but Crystal suddenly started walking towards Vivian.

Vivian's brows furrowed almost imperceptibly.
