Chapter 353

Liam Sullivan said nothing more.

He spoke calmly. "I'll contact you later."

The call ended.

In the office, Liam closed the file.

He stood and picked up his jacket.

Just as he was about to leave, the office door burst open.

Ryan Johnson's anxious voice followed. "Miss Winston, Mr. Sullivan is busy—"

Before he could finish, Chloe Winston stormed in.

Liam's gaze turned icy cold.

His eyes sharpened like blades.

Ryan broke into a cold sweat. "Mr. Sullivan, Miss Winston insisted on seeing you..."

Chloe marched in wearing a warm yellow dress.

She completely ignored Ryan's explanation.

She demanded angrily, "Liam Sullivan, what do you mean by this?"

Liam's eyes shifted to Ryan.

His voice was frigid. "Why was she allowed up without authorization?"

This floor was always heavily guarded.

Almost no one except senior executives could enter.

Ryan lowered his head, not daring to speak.

He had tried his best to stop her.

But he had still failed in his duty.

Chloe stepped forward quickly.

Her brow furrowed tightly. "Are you just going to let what happened that day slide?"

Liam's expression remained unchanged. "I don't know what you're talking about, Miss Winston."

"Stop playing dumb!" Chloe refused to believe he had forgotten.

Even though days had passed, how could he not remember her injury?

He hadn't even sent a single message of concern.

It was as if she didn't exist.

This neglect was unbearable.

Liam clearly had no interest in engaging.

He moved to leave with his jacket.

His tone was detached. "I've provided all the compensation owed."

"Discuss any further demands with Ryan."

"I will do my best to accommodate them."

"Who wants your compensation!" Chloe quickly blocked his path. "You think I came here for money?"

Liam's gaze cooled.

His voice remained calm. "Then what do you want?"

Chloe was momentarily speechless.

"Since you don't need money," he continued, "I doubt there's anything else I can assist with."

"I have an appointment. Excuse me."

He finished coldly and brushed past her.

His tall figure radiated an aloof aura.

It made others hesitant to approach.

Chloe stood frozen in place.

His indifferent attitude left her utterly bewildered.
