Chapter 330

Her heart warmed.

Her voice softened.

"Liam Sullivan, don't spoil me too much."

"What if I get used to it?"

"I'll take responsibility if you do."

Liam Sullivan tightened his grip on her hand.

He led her toward the second-floor study.

Vivian Bennett shook her head gently.

"You have work to do. I won't disturb you."

Liam suddenly wrapped an arm around her slender waist.

His fingertips brushed her cheek.

He lowered his head and captured her lips.

The kiss was lingering and tender.

It held endless affection.

Vivian melted into his embrace.

She allowed him to deepen the kiss.

Her body gradually softened into a pool of spring water.

Only when he was satisfied did Liam slowly release her.

He whispered against her ear, "With you here, I work more efficiently."

He then lifted her into his arms and carried her into the study.

Liam sat behind the large desk.

He focused intently on processing documents.

Vivian lounged lazily on the nearby sofa.

She idly flipped through a book.

Two completely different scenes merged strangely into a warm picture.

Neither wanted to break this peaceful and beautiful moment.

When Liam finished his work, he realized the woman on the sofa had fallen asleep at some point.

The corners of his lips lifted.

He bent down and scooped her up.

Vivian woke up groggily.

She yawned and asked, "Finished?"

"Yes." Liam carried her toward the bedroom.

Only when she was tossed onto the soft bed did Vivian fully wake up.

Seeing the fire igniting in Liam's eyes, she panicked and tried to escape.

Liam caught her slender ankle.

His tall body pressed down on her like a mountain.

His voice was low and hoarse. "It's too late to run now."

He gave her no chance to refuse.

He sealed her lips again.

The temperature in the bedroom rose instantly.

The scene became enchanting and moving.

Only when Vivian had melted into a puddle of spring water, emitting kitten-like whimpers, did Liam reluctantly let her go.

He carried her into the bathroom.

Vivian didn't expect Liam to transform into a wolf again in the bathroom.

He tormented her until she nearly passed out.

Half-asleep and half-awake, she secretly swore to herself:

From now on, she would rather keep her worries to herself than confide in this man.

The price was simply too heavy...

Vivian slept deeply this time, completely defenseless.

She woke to find herself in Liam's office again, feeling both anxious and uneasy.

Her whole body ached, making her frown.

She hurriedly washed up and changed clothes.

She gently pushed open the door to the restroom.

The vast office was empty.

Her heart sank.

She knew Liam was busy with work, but she was unbearably hungry.

Just as she hesitated, the office doorknob suddenly turned.

Startled, she turned and ran back toward the restroom.

Liam pushed the door open and saw a figure swiftly disappearing.

His thin lips curved into a captivating smile.

He strode to the restroom door.

He called out softly, "Little thing, why are you hiding after waking up?"
