Chapter 296
While she was still lost in confusion, Liam Sullivan's deep voice spoke gently beside her.
"I thought you'd like it. I bought it especially for you."
Vivian Bennett was completely immersed in the tenderness he offered.
She didn't know how much time had passed before their lingering kiss finally ended.
Liam's breathing was slightly heavy as he gazed at her dazed eyes, flushed cheeks, and glistening lips.
At this moment, she resembled an exquisitely charming flower, breathtakingly beautiful and enchantingly alluring.
Liam steadied his breathing and fastened her seatbelt, his voice husky.
"We're gathering at Oliver Winston's place tonight."
He started the car after speaking.
Vivian suddenly came to her senses, her lips stiffening slightly.
"Is it appropriate for me to attend your gathering?"
Liam frowned at her shy expression.
"You don't want to go?"
Vivian's delicate brows furrowed slightly.
"Would it be inappropriate for me to go with you like this?"
"What's inappropriate about it?" The man's voice lowered, carrying a chill.
It wasn't that Vivian was being overly sensitive. She had met them before, and it wasn't a big deal to her.
But for Liam, did he truly intend to make their relationship public?
Was he so certain they would stay together?
Liam held her hand.
"We're together now. It's perfectly legitimate."
Vivian said nothing more.
A faint joy blossomed in her heart.
His willingness to introduce her to his friends showed he acknowledged her in his heart.
The car stopped in front of a mansion. Liam helped her out and gestured for her to take his arm.
Laughter could be heard from inside even before they entered.
Vivian tightened her grip on his arm, her palms sweating.
How pathetic. It wasn't her first time meeting his friends, so why was she so nervous?
"Liam, you're finally here!" Oliver Winston was the first to greet them, shaking Liam's hand and patting his shoulder.
Liam exchanged a few pleasantries, a slight smile curling his lips.
"Vivian is here too?" Oliver's gaze shifted to Vivian, looking at her with surprise.
Vivian felt uncomfortable under his scrutiny.
Liam led her inside without further engaging with Oliver.
Quite a few people were seated inside. Besides the men she had met last time, everyone had brought female companions this time.
There were also some other friends.
Vivian estimated there were over a dozen people.
Everyone started by singing and chatting.
Soon, someone suggested playing Truth or Dare.
Vivian signaled with her eyes that they should leave.
But Liam agreed to join the game.
She had no choice but to stay and participate.
The rules were simple. Whoever the bottle landed on had to choose truth or dare. Otherwise, they had to drink three glasses of alcohol.
Oliver was the first to be chosen for a truth question. Ethan Roscente's question was astonishing.
"When was your first time?"
Wow—exclamations of surprise erupted from the crowd. The question was too sensational. Alexander Lowell patted Ethan's shoulder and actually laughed.
