Chapter 210
Vivian Bennett avoided eye contact. "I went for a walk in the Peach Grove."
Emily Davis frowned. "Why didn't you answer my calls?"
Vivian hastily looked away. "I left my phone in the room. Why did you come back early?"
Emily's lips curved into a smile. "The resort has an event tonight. I came back specifically for that."
"Oh." Vivian lowered her head and walked into the hotel with her, distracted.
Her mind was filled with Liam Sullivan's words.
He said it was just angry talk.
Did he still want to continue the agreement?
"Vivian, do you know which executive the company sent for this team building?" Emily whispered mysteriously.
"Who?" Vivian's heart skipped a beat.
Emily blinked excitedly. "It's Mr. Sullivan himself!"
Vivian's fingers trembled.
How could she not know?
She was almost devoured by Liam in the villa just moments ago.
Emily studied her. "Why aren't you excited at all?"
"Excited?" Vivian forced a stiff smile.
How could she possibly be excited?
She thought Liam proposed terminating the agreement, that she was finally free.
But it turned out he was just speaking in anger.
He never intended to let her go.
"Vivian!"
Emily suddenly exclaimed.
"What's wrong?"
Vivian was startled by her.
"Your lips..." Emily stared at the wound on the corner of her mouth, her gaze turning inquisitive.
The mark was clearly from someone biting it.
Did Vivian just...
"It's nothing!" Vivian hurriedly covered her mouth. "I'm going back to my room first."
She fled into the elevator like escaping.
Emily watched her panicked retreating figure, understanding dawning.
Vivian really was forcibly kissed.
Who was so bold?
How dare they lay hands on their Vivian?
Vivian returned to her room and sat on the edge of the bed, scrolling through photos on her camera.
She suddenly discovered several pictures of herself sleeping.
All taken in Liam Sullivan's bed.
The thought of sleeping defenselessly in his bed, being photographed without her knowledge, filled Vivian with irritation.
Why would a man like Liam Sullivan cling to her so persistently?
Emily pushed the door open and saw Vivian lost in thought.
She leaned in and asked quietly, "Vivian, is someone at the company pursuing you?"
"..." Vivian's expression froze.
How was she supposed to answer that?
Emily blinked. "Who is it?"
"..." Vivian remained silent.
It wasn't that she didn't want to say.
She simply couldn't.
Was she supposed to tell Emily that person was Liam Sullivan?
