Chapter 183
Isabella Sullivan entered the store in her high heels.
The store manager immediately approached her, face covered in an ingratiating smile. "Miss Sullivan, what brings you here today? We just received new arrivals. Would you like to see them?"
Several sales associates behind her displayed similarly fawning expressions.
This Sullivan heiress was a VIP customer.
A single casual purchase from her could fulfill their monthly sales targets.
Isabella didn't even glance at the staff.
She had locked onto Vivian Bennett's location the moment she entered.
Her heels clicked sharply against the floor as she strode directly toward Vivian.
Vivian hadn't expected to encounter her here.
Her mood instantly sank.
This woman was a Sullivan heiress and the company's vice president.
From any perspective, offending her would be unwise.
But since they had crossed paths, she couldn't just pretend not to see her.
Vivian forced a faint smile.
Isabella accurately called out her name. "Vivian Bennett, what a coincidence?"
She actually remembered her.
Vivian didn't consider this a good thing.
Isabella had noticed her solely because of Liam Sullivan.
But she and Liam had already broken up.
There would be no further connection between them.
Isabella shouldn't have any reason to trouble her now, right?
Vivian responded flatly, "Yes, quite a coincidence."
Isabella's critical gaze swept over her.
"Nice outfit."
Her tone dripped with obvious sarcasm.
It seemed to question whether Vivian could even afford the clothes in this store.
Vivian suppressed her displeasure.
Starting a conflict with Isabella here would only disadvantage her.
Since she had already broken up with Liam, there was no need to provoke his sister.
She pretended not to catch Isabella's mockery.
Isabella mistook her restraint for fear and pressed further.
She turned to the sales associate. "How many pieces has this young lady tried on?"
The associate hurriedly replied, "Six sets, plus the one she's wearing makes seven. Each one suits her perfectly."
Isabella raised her voice. "Excellent. I'll take everything she tried on."
Sophia Miller immediately stepped forward. "What do you mean? We saw them first. There should be some order to this."
Vivian quickly pulled her best friend back.
Sophia looked at her, confused.
Vivian whispered a reminder. "She's the company's vice president."
Sophia froze for a moment.
So this was Vivian's superior.
But even a superior shouldn't bully people like this.
