Chapter 125
Vivian Bennett vigorously wiped her lips where Zachary Hudson had touched them.
She walked quickly back to the company.
Her high heels clicked sharply against the floor.
The public relations department office was just ahead.
Deputy Manager Hannah Green called out to her again.
Vivian frowned.
She had just gotten rid of Zachary Hudson.
Was Hannah Green already looking for trouble again?
She pushed open the office door and entered.
"Manager Green, is there something you need?" Vivian asked, maintaining the last of her patience.
Hannah raised an eyebrow at her. "The big boss will be back soon. You know what to say and what not to say, right?"
Vivian was taken aback. "What do you mean?"
Hannah decided to be blunt. "I personally quite admire you. It's a pity you offended the wrong person."
Vivian's heart sank.
Hannah was indeed acting on someone else's orders.
Who had enough power to force her out of Sullivan Group?
She could only think of one person: Isabella Sullivan.
"Being with Young Master Hudson will only benefit you," Hannah said persuasively. "If he values you, wouldn't it be better to develop your career at Hudson Group in the future?"
Vivian coldly refused. "I have no intention of changing jobs."
Why should she leave just because they wanted her gone?
Especially to be with someone like Zachary Hudson.
Hannah sneered. "Stop dreaming. Do you really think you can latch onto the boss? I've seen plenty of women like you."
Vivian's expression turned even colder. "If there's no official business to discuss, I'll take my leave."
She turned to leave.
Hannah issued a warning from behind her. "If the boss asks, you'd better say you volunteered to be Young Master Hudson's assistant."
Vivian found it ridiculous. "Are you saying it was really my choice?"
Hannah's eyes turned icy. "Otherwise, I'll make sure you're thrown out of the public relations department."
Vivian felt a tremor in her heart.
She strode out of the office and returned to her workstation.
Her mind was in chaos.
She knew she had been set up.
Her phone suddenly vibrated.
Liam Sullivan's name appeared on the screen.
He was on a business trip abroad.
He called at this time every day.
But today, Vivian did not want to answer.
